Philippine Association of Functional Jaw Orthopedics, Inc.
On December 15, 1998, at the Club Filipino, as our nation celebrates the Centennial of Philippine Independence, a handful of new generation, idealistic dentists founded the Philippine Association of Functional Orthopedics-TMJ, Inc. on the same year, PAFJO-TMJ, Inc. acquired legal personality by virtue of SEC Registration #A199915939 dated 14th of October 1999.

With the common vision to disseminate the idea that is largely preventable and manageable under ordinary dental office set-up, PAFJO-TMJ, Inc. was able to seek approval of the House of Delegates of the PDA on May 3, 2001 as the 22nd affiliate of the Philippine Dental Association.
